This is Chapter 10 to a commissioned novel. It is set in my Caretaker Universe, and is universe canon. The story follows Rooky, a young male tanuki (basically a raccoon with some panda thrown in there :P), who has made some extraordinarily bad life choices, but eventually goes off his better judgment and makes a very poor choice indeed... One that sucks him into the clutches of a certain secret society.

Four chapters in one day? Gee, Psudo, I'm starting to feel spoiled.
I can't believe Rooky is going along with this, even for an objective look at the organization's operations. I kind of imagined that he would have to be ground down to nothing and built from the bottom up. But something tells me that that isn't entirely out of the question yet....
