Basically it's a land inhabited by primarily humans but also dwarfs and elves lives there and stories tell of dragons and other beasts still sleeping in the deep caves. To the north lays the mysterious barrier called the Shadow Line. Nobody knows what lies on the other side as no one who has passed over the shadow line has ever returned yet at times strange creatures and monsters crossed the
shadow line and attacked the near by villages and farms. This caused the Shadow Wall to be built. This giant wall stretches from ocean to ocean across the entire continent with large forts built into the wall to protect the lands from what ever dangers that might slip over the shadow line. Though recently the attacks from the shadow line has grown ever more frequent and some people swear that the shadow line itself has started moving closer to the wall
And one day a strange creature was found after crossing both the shadow line and the shadow wall, a creature that looked like a wolf except it was walking upright like a human and had human like hands. It wore a pair of shorts and knew how to speak
