My raw writing style is overly wordy so I edited it down to shorter sentences and smaller words...but I think my "audience" is still unclear. This story is an allegory, and I hope those that choose to read it don't stop reading as soon as they get the symbolism. It's a feeble attempt, I realize, to get someone interested or curious that doesn't already know...perhaps I need to read more C. S. Lewis or something.
