I love these weapons from Castlevania Aria of Sorrow, especially the Claim Solais. If you know how to cancel out the recovery animation this weapon becomes the most insanely powerful weapon the game!
The Balmung just looks cool. =3

I never knew that sword existed until I started looking online for info after the game came out. I knew I missed a bit with the weapon drops, but I had no idea~! O.O
Then again, I found the completely unmentioned special moves for a wealth of weapons I did find, though. How certain fighting game moves with different weapons would change their attack/animation/damage/range. ^^
God, I love that SotN had so many random little secretive things. It was heaven. <3

I enjoyed them since they were a little treat. Most of the time there was no reason to actually use them, although they came in handy at some moments (initial opening with Alucard's Sword and the teleport slash). For the minor boost in damage (like the ~10% extra from the Holy Sword and Holy Rod), it's easily skippable with no real loss. :3
I so loved the aspect of finding something new in SotN here, there, and everywhere. I think it had the most replayability across all of the "Metroidvania" titles, although it doesn't mean I love the handheld ones any less.
It's also why I easily put $30 towards Bloodstained, because I REAAAAALLY want to see that game done right. Come on, IGA! <3

I've never actually played a Castlevania game, but God damn, you did a fantastic job on these sprites! I've always loved the blue-white color combination on sword sprites (especially Chrono Trigger's Masamune).
In addition, kudos to you for making 32-bit perlers. I've heard how hard it is to find colors for 16-bit sprites alone, so making them with an even larger color range is great!

Thank you. I always try and make them look as good as I can, even making changes I think would improve things.
And I think all the colors were in the traditional buckets:
White, toothpaste, lightblue, blue, black, cheddar, light brown, brown, red and grey.
Cranapple and Dark grey were the only ones I needed to buy 1,000 bead bags for.
