Well, the ice dragon head is finished! Sorry I'm not in full regalia yet, because the rest of the partial is still a work in progress :) Why white fur, you ask? Well, my thought process operated on the fact that there are no reptilian creatures in the arctic (though the garter snake range does extend to tundra regions), it has to do with the fact that reptiles can't regulate their body temperatures and that scales just don't hold in heat as well as feathers and fur. So in my mind, ice dragons at least have some portion of fur on them.

The neck and hood are white fur, the neck scales you see are white vinyl, and the horns are bushbok horns. The resin blank (which started as a round nose dragon blank), horns and jawset are all from Dream Vision Creations. All the sculpting on the head is done by me, and is my first experience with doing any sculpting outside of eyelids and lips, I think it came out great!
