(A camera starts recording, and shows a anthro male bunny, dressed in a safari outfit, and standing by the Niles river.)
"Legend has it about a beast, a creature that lurks somewhere in the over 4'000 miles long Nile river, a predator that has the appetite (And belly) to eat up to 20 furries a day! My name is Andrew Garlfod and I'm the host that will guide you on a search for the monstrous croc now known by locals as...NILES! This is Modern Monsters, on Discovery channel."
(The Bunny then pick up and shows what looks like very old papers, with images drawn on them.)
"The tales of the terror of the Niles goes all the way back to centauries ago, where you can find hieroglyphs and old papyrus sketches showing images of what looks like a crocodile, but with an abnormally large midsection! Given the proportions of it compared to the anthros it looked like the beast could store up to 3 or 4 of them inside of it!"
"Since then many other tales and have been told about this reptile and unbelievably it seems it has only grown larger as time has gone on! Myths of it says now that it can take some many as 20 victims before it feels full for the day. If you where to just look at the surface it might seems like any other crocodile, but if you saw underwater it would be up to 10 times the size of any other!"
"This has attracted the attention of many types of people. Both scientists who thinks it can be a surviving species from the Jurassic age, and from hunts men that sees it as a goldmine in the making." (If the tales of it's size is true then you could probably make up to 10,000 crocodile leather purses!)
"There even used to be an old cult worshiping the creature in the 1930s, that believed that the huge thing was reincarnation of the God Sobek but in physical form. And it's said to still have a single old original member still alive to this day.
"From the start many of the legends called it the "Terror from the Niles", but if you look at many internet forums talking about it they usually like to shorten the name down to simply "Niles". (And that's what we also will call it during this project.)"
"And many have tried proving it's existence through film and photos, and has either been giving up or "disappeared" trying!"
"And now it's our turn at it, with me and my 5 man crew we are going to finally manage to capture the beast!"
...................
"Okay, that's perfect." The bunny host says as the crew packs up their bags and prepare to start the search. But unknowingly to them there is a certain croc that is watching them (Hidden in the reeds.) and saying in a deep raspy voice "So. They want to try find and film me? Well, then I will make sure to not disappoint them." before disappearing into the water.
The team for this expedition was consisting of (Besides the bunny host Andrew)
A camera man (A ferret named Berret), a camera assistant (A rat named Markus.), a guy operating the sound (An eagle named Earl), and finally the producer of the show Carl Ferdinand. (A very Fat pig.)
After packing their stuff they all started heading down a few miles along the Niles river (As they had been told some fresh traces of the beast had been found there.), and all of them seem to be able to handle the weight of their backpacks and the heat of the sun...except for the porky producer that was sweating and complaining a lot.
As they finally reached the spot (and found the tracks) Andrew and the crew started to pack up their equipment to start filming, while Carl went to find a place to rest.
When it came to resting he wasn't so picky and could settle for just a rock to sit on, to bad almost all the rock here was to small for his big behind. That's when he saw a big round bump by the water that seemed to have more then enough room for him to sit on.
While that was going on Andrew made himself ready to start filming this short scene. "Andrew Garlfod here again, and this time we have arrived to what seems to be our first real trace to finding this mystical (and maybe even mythological) creature. These sand tracks here seems at first pretty ordinary, as they show footprints from a crocodile. But looking a second time and you will see a big drag mark in the space between the two sides of the two foot marks, meaning this must have been either a croc dragging a very large prey, or more likely HAD a very large prey inside of it!"
"We are still trying to see if we with the help of this might be able to trace where the abnormally large reptile could be now as we..." as all Andrew had time to say before the scream of Carl the producer could be heard from off screen!
The camera man turned the camera over to Carl, and filmed how the "rock" he was sitting on was now moving him out into the deep of the river! (It was first now Carl and the others understood that it was in fact on the very, very big belly of Niles!) Carl could only continue sitting in the same way as he was doing, until he and the "rock" was in the middle of the river stream. When that happen the big belly disappeared underwater, and Carl was left to try and keep himself above surface.
He was thinking about trying to swim back to his friends, when suddenly two large jaws appeared around his wide waist, and dragged him under! Andrew and the others could only watch in horror as they had just seen their producer become the next meal to the "mythical legend".
Underwater Niles decided to be "nice" and swallow up the pig before he would risk drowning in the river. And despite the croc having had a couple of Wildebeest for lunch earlier, he still had some room for a 400 pound pork feast. As he settle down at the sandy bottom of the river Niles could feel the pig making outlines on his scaly gut (as he tried to escape his fate.), and the croc fully enjoyed having 400+ pounds of food settled inside of him. Rubbing his very well filled gut Niles let out an under water burp and said "Producers really are the meat and filling of the crew."
After just staring on the motionless water for a few minutes it had finally sunken in for the group what had truly happened here. Their friend had goten eaten by the beast they where searching for.
"So...what will we do now?" Berret the ferret asked as he stopped recording with his camera.
Andrew didn't waste any time thinking as he quickly said "We are going to continue film this monster and show the world it's existence! That's what Carl would have wished for."
"I think he would have wished to NOT get eaten." Markus the camera assisting rat said jokingly, but immediately saw that nobody else was finding it funny.
"You are the expert Andrew, what shall we do next?" Earl the boom-mic operating eagle asked.
"Let's see...Some of the tales talks about a cave where the croc would go to rest in after a big meal." Andrew was saying as he was thinking loudly.
"And I'm sure Carl was easily one large meal." Markus joked again, and once again only got angry stares back at him.
"Lead us to that cave Andrew." Berret said, and shortly after the whole group was on their way towards it.
After about 10 minutes of walking they finally reached what looked like the entrance to the cave. It was a big cliff wall, with a small hole that looked just big enough for one of the crew members to crawl into.
"Only some kind of idiot would crawl into that tight space." Markus said, to which Berret replied "Then why don't you crawl in?"
"Hey!" Marcus said, but got quickly put down by Andrew, who said "You have done nothing so far but making tasteless jokes on Carl's behalf."
"I'm sure Carl at least tasted good to the crocodile." Markus mumbled, but was heard by the others.
"See! You are doing it again!" Andrew said.
"If you want to prove your part of the team then I suggest you grab your hand hold camera, and go in there to try and see if you can film the beast." Berret said, and Earl was nodding in agreement.
"Fine!" Markus said, packed up his camera, and started to crawl into the opening.
"Pretty fitting that it is the rat being forced to crawl into the "sewer"." Berret said jokingly, which resulted in some laughs from the other two guys standing with him.
"Shut Up!" The voice of Markus could be heard from inside the tunnel, not liking to now instead being the butt of the joke.
He was not enjoying crawling through his new environment as it was cold, wet, and dark. (Having to shove a some what big camera in front of him wasn't helping either.) He had also been expecting the tunnel to be nothing more then a few inches/a feet long, but now he felt that he had been crawling probably 3-4 feet and nothing had changed yet. (Except for it becoming slightly warmer the further he crawled.)
"How does it look in there?" Andrew asked as he looked into the long black tunnel his friend was in.
"I don't know, cause it's still as dark as possible in here!" Markus shouted back.
"You know you can turn on the flashlight in the camera by recording?" Berret asked, and Markus felt like a huge idiot for not thinking of it himself.
"I am going to do it now!" Markus said and turned his camera on. And what he saw made his heart drop. All around his head he could see fleshy pink muscles, and back at his feet he could see big sharp teethes! He had somehow ended up inside Niles's mouth!
(This was all a part of a trap the clever croc had made, where he simply had his mouth covering up the other end of the tunnel, and then just waited as his next "meal" wandered in on it's own.)
Markus tried to back out, but as soon as Niles could feel his prey figuring out where it was he closed his mouth. The throat muscles inside got a hard grip on the rat boy, as it started to drag him down, and all he could do was to see through is camera the way down into the stomach. A few easy gulps, and the second (much thinner) meal was eaten.
When Markus wasn't making any sounds Andrew stuck his head into the tunnel to see if he could get any sign from him. And when he shouted Markus's name out loud, he got answered by a burp wave!
Quickly pulling his head out from the hole Andrew and the others could see how the dark void of a tunnel suddenly got a lot more lighter, and looking into it again Andrew could see the Markus's weak attempts to break free from the stomach of the croc, as Niles went down into the water in the cave and swim out.
"I guess it's true what they say about how "slimy" rats are, given how quickly you went down." Niles said, while giving himself another slap on the gut for a once again well done job to get some food for himself.
After loosing two men to the beast Andrew was feeling more then a little sceptical about this whole thing. Where they even going to have anyone left when they where finished shooting this, or more importantly SHOULD they even continue on?
"What shall we do now Andrew?" Berret and Earl asked, and the bunny leader was really trying his hardest to not make any wrong decisions this time.
"The safest thing right now is to stay away from the river, and to get some more folks so we aren't on a disadvantages on numbers. So I want you earl to go out on the markets of Cairo to try and hire some good men to help us, while me and Berret go and interview that very old member of that no longer existing cult." Andrew explained, and the other two agreed on it.
So with that Andrew and Berret went away to try and make their interview, while Earl tried to hire help.
As the lonely eagle went through the busy market place he seemed very lost on who to turn to. The only real requirement he was asking for was for them to be cheep.
He had been told when ask by several people that he should visit "Abdul & Achmed" as they are "Cheap at price, Great at strength, and Always trustworthy." But the pore guy was also very easy lost on location, and pretty soon he had found himself in the more "shady" parts of Kario.
As he looked around he saw two not so trustworthy coyotes anthros that seemed to be running some kind of business (But he couldn't tell what business since he didn't speak or read Egyptian.), and against his better judgments on anything Earl decided to walk up to them.
"Uhm, Hello guys." Earl said, in his best polite way.
"What do you want?" One of the coyotes said in rude way in a very thick accent.
"I am looking to hire people from "Abdul & Achmed", are you two perhaps them?" The Eagle asked in a very gullible way, to which the other coyote asked "Do you have any money?"
"Well, I do have some money to pay with..." Earl said, and then immediately the first coyote said "Then we are Abdul & Achmed".
"Great! That's perfect." Earl said, completely buying their obvious lies.
After he handed them the money his friends had trusted him in the two coyotes asked Earl what he wanted their help with, and when he told them that it was for searching after the legendary Niles they both laughed at him.
"Niles is just an old legend!" "Abdul" said.
"Many tourists goes missing every year, but I think there is other things then a overweight croc that is behind that!" "Achmed" added.
"But I have seen it! And so has Andrew and Berret!" Earl tried to say, but they just wouldn't listen to him.
"Unless you got some good evidence on that this beast really exist I suggest you leave us now." "Abdul" said.
"I've got some evidence, I-I just don't know if I should show it to you. It is a bit graphical images." Earl said, and that only made the two coyotes believe him even less.
Wanting to prove himself right Earl decided to go against the rules of not showing the footage for anyone but his filming friends, and showed them the part where Carl the producer is being taken away by Niles before he is eaten.
"Wow!" Said "Abdul".
"Unbelievable!" "Achmed" added.
"Now you believe me?" Earl asked, feeling like he has finally end up on top now.
"Yes. Oh, yes. This is even bigger then the legends told he would be." "Abdul" said as he was still staring at the footage with big eyes.
"If we capture and kill that thing we will make millions of it." Achmed said, and that made Earl a bit unsure about them. He and his friends had been on a mission to prove Niles existence, and even thought the croc had been eating two of his friends he couldn't see himself wanting to "kill" it. (It was just like any other animal, only going after it's instincts.)
"I-I'm not so sure I want you two to be a part of this anymore." The eagle said, and as he wanted to back away he was grabbed by the two coyotes who said "Oh, yes you will. And in fact YOU will be playing a very important role in this!" before one of them knocked Earl unconscious.
When he woke up he couldn't first believe where was. (And who could blame him?) He was in fact now hanging upside down, tied up with his own wires from his equipment, and was dangling over the edge of a small fishing boat as if he was a chicken hanging there as live bait for the croc!
"Get me out of here!" Earl shouted, and he got a "So, you have woken up now." as a response from one of the coyotes.
"Why are you doing this?" Earl asked, and the other coyote said "You wanted us to help you hunt the croc, so now we do that."
"This was not what I thought you would do!" Earl shouted, to which the two coyotes just laughed and said "To bad, cause we will continue do it this way."
"Do you really think that this is even going to work?..." Earl asked when he suddenly got quiet as he saw the head of Niles sticking up from the surface.
"Yes! There he is!" The one coyote told the other, who said "Just jump up and take the bait so we can drag you in."
But instead of doing that Niles looked at the whole picture of the hanging Eagle and the boat with the coyotes on, and seemed to be thinking out a plan so insanely good that it was requiring some kind of mathematical likeliness in his head first. Once the idea in his head had been approved the croc smiled and disappeared under the water again shortly.
Only to have him instead shoot up in the air at full speed and temporarily turning his big body in the air (While putting Free Willy to shame), before crashing down belly first right on top of the boat!
From where Earl was hanging he couldn't see anything, but the sound of screams, splashing, and gulping told him everything he needed to know. "Seems like Niles isn't such a fan of crooks." Earl said to himself, and thought he himself was safe until the head of Niles showed up again just under him.
"Eh, he, he. You wouldn't probably feel feed enough for now?" Earl asked desperately, and Niles decided to really mess with the poor eagle boy's head by saying "No, I think I want one more."
Completely shocked and speechless by the fact that the humongous crocodile actually could talk (And answer him.) left Earl to not even try say or do anything as the cable holding him above water suddenly burst, and he went straight down into Niles open gap with no problems. (Had he not been having one of his microphones right next to him to record the sound of him getting eaten then nobody would have believed it.)
As he was feeling like he was on a great roll today with 7 creatures eaten so far today Niles said "What a deal. One over grown chicken, with two false playing hounds next to it." as he was enjoying the feeling of rubbing his everlasting fatness of his belly, that he knew was only going to get even fatter as he still was going to have a few more meals before this day had ended.
Unknown to Earl's grisly fate Andrew and Berret was trying their best to record one part of the episode that hopefully would keep them safe from becoming food as well. (But the odds for that weren't very likely.)
They were going to go and interview a over 100 year old gecko man, that had in his youth been a member of the legendary "Niles Cult" in the 1930s. Given his age he almost never lived his house for anything but the most important of reasons, so Andrew and Berret had to make try and record the talk with him about the monster croc at his home.
His home happen to be a very impressive suite, as it was this big mansion next by the Niles River, that looked very old, and had already a few things broken off of it. (Had it not been in the middle of the day then this could have easily looked like a haunted house from Scooby-Doo.)
As they knocked on the door they where greeted by the century old reptilian, who greeted them with open arms. "Welcome, welcome." He said cheerfully.
"Nice to meet you mister..." Andrew said, realizing that he had embarrassingly forgot the name of the person they had booked time with. But the kind old lizard took it with ease and said "Just call me Omar.", as he welcomed them in.
As they made their way in Andrew said "I'm sorry for forgetting your name earlier, things has just been...a bit complicated today.", thinking about what great losses they had indeed been facing so far.
"Let's leave those things behind, and just focus on what's in the present my dear friend." Omar said as he lead them to the place that he would like best to be interviewed in. "If only it was that simple." Andrew said to himself.
Finally they had reached the place that Omar had prepared for the interview. A nice looking living room, with two comfy armchairs for him and Andrew to sit in.
As they sat down and Berret started to make the camera ready to start filming, Omar started to for the first time look a little upset.
"Is he going to also be here when we talk?" He asked.
"Yes...he is the one operating the camera." Andrew said a bit confused.
"But can't a modern thing like that work on it's own, by just pressing a button once?" The gecko asked.
"It probably can, but why don't you want Berret to be in the room with us?" Andrew asked, to which Omar gave a very weird answer to.
"I only want this conversation to be between 2 pair of eyes." He said.
(This really didn't make sense in the long run as the finished thing was going to be shown on TV, and there at least millions of viewers would become a part of this recording.)
But none of that needed to be thought future by Andrew as Berret said that he could move out of the room if it meant getting this filmed quicker.
"Good. You can walk into the room over there, and just wait until we are finished." Omar said, and Berret just decided to do as he was told.
He walked into a small storage room, (That had nothing more then a closet standing against a wall.) and after closing the door to it (As Omar told him in a second order.) the two other individuals could start making their recording.
"Andrew Garlfod once again, and this time we are going into a very critical part of learning about the origins of the legendary Niles Gator. With me here I have Omar, who in his youth used to be a part of the now dissolved cult "Niles: The gift sent from heaven". Omar, where did this name of the organisation even come from?"
"Well, this was all from a time where we all still believed very hardly on the traditional Egypt gods like Anubis, Ra, and Ibis. And at the same time we had been having a very long period of no rain, leading to dry crops and no water. So one day when we saw this colossal, beautiful crocodile swim in the Niles we knew this was a sign from the gods."
"And are you really sure that it was just that?"
"Oh yes. In the old Egyptian mythology there was an anthro Crocodile god named Sobek, who was meant to protect and help the people by the Niles River. So when we saw this extremely large one come swimming by we knew that it had to be Sobek in his feral form!"
"So is the stories about the members of your group offering people to get eaten by the beast also true?"
"Back then many people (Not only us) believed strongly in that sacrifices had to be made in order to please the gods, that many times the ones we threw to the croc was doing it on their own. But yes, at times some people did put up a bit of fight."
"Good thing that society isn't around doing those things anymore."
"And even if we where I'm sure we would barely have to do anything, given how many stupid tourists there is that ends up making themselves meals to him now!"
Omar then laughed a bit over the last thing he said, before the tone in his voice got a lot more...creepy.
"But, of course. At times we do decide to take a single individual to take to our lord and master, just to be on the safe side."
Right then in the closed up storage room the Berret was standing in two people dressed in dark cloaks and Sobek masks grabbed the Ferret, put a gag over his mouth, and dragged him into the closet from where they had come out.
Inside what looked to be an ordinary closet, actually had a secret pass way with some stairs that was leading down into the undergrounds.
Once there Berret was forced on the ground, and looking around he couldn't believe what he was seeing. All around him was candles lit up on century old torches, on the walls was hieroglyphs of big round crocodiles, and except for him there was about 20 of those masked members staring at him.
There was also one more thing in the room. And that was Niles, sitting on throne, wearing the same type of hat as drawings of Sobek had, and a ankh necklace. And most importantly, his belly was now so big and fat that most of it was hanging out in front of the throne in order for the rest of the croc to still fit in it.
"You can see that this throne doesn't have as much room as of before, must have been that big producer from earlier that is responsible for that." Niles said, and patted the now "all digested fat" gut.
"Y-You, you..." Berret said, stuttering over the fact that this was the first time he had ever heard the so called "animal" talk.
But Niles decided that it was something else that he wanted the Ferret to say to him, so he filled in with "Look different? Well, when you got a very dedicated set of fans like this, the least you can do is to look pretty." while making poses that was suppose to look "God sexy".
Hearing him stomach growl for more food Niles decided to step off from him throne and walk over to the scared ferret. (On his hind legs for a change) Once he had walked up to him did Berret get a view of just how big Niles was.
Standing on his hind legs Niles seemed to be about 10 feet in length, and his belly was sticking out in a 3 feet thick dome from his middle.
"Well, time for me to do what my people wishes to see." Niles said as he grabbed Berret and lifted him up to his face. The ferret pleaded for his life, but only got a lick from Niles's thick wet tongue in return. After that he got up to his shoulders stuffed into the fat croc's mouth. From the inside he tried to do anything to fight back, but since he couldn't move at all it was completely pointless to even try.
Feeling that this little funny act had gone on for long enough Niles decided to end it by lifting his head up high, and with the help of gravity send the fuzzy ferret down into his stomach.
"A threat worthy of a god." Niles said, and finished nicely with a pat, and a burp.
This time it was a burp so loud that it echoed through the tunnels, and up into the living room where Andrew and Omar was sitting.
When hearing the beast belch the bunny knew just what it was, and that this was all some kind of trap.
"Sounds like your friend became a nice meal to our god." Omar said, before sounds of big stomps could be heard from down stairs. "And I think he is looking for one more person to eat." He said looking at Andrew.
Only one thing went through Andrew mind right now. "Grab the camera, and run!"
And that's what he did as he took the camera away from it's stand, and rushed towards the main door from where he had entered!
As he reached the hallway he could see the door on the far right side of it, but as he made his way towards it he heard something bad also entering the room. Looking back at the far end of hall he could see Niles coming up from the basement! (And he looked hungry!)
As quickly as his bunny feet would let him run he tossed himself over the door handle, only for it to not bulge! "Omar! He must have locked the door when we walked in!" Andrew thought as he saw the super bloated croc almost fly towards him across the hallway! (Niles used his soft fat middle to glide over the carpet covered floor, while he used the claws on his paws to bury into the wallpaper and push himself forward.)
Knowing he only had seconds to work with before possibly ending up inside it's mouth Andrew used the big film camera as a ram, and broke open the door.
Once outside he checked the camera as he running, and saw that it was both working and still recording. But he had no time to press "stop" on the record button as he was still being chased by the fat reptile! (Even if being forced to use his stubby legs to move across the sand was slowing Niles down some what.)
Looking for a way to escape the wild animal Andrew saw a speed boat floating in the water, and he made a run towards it!
After quickly jumping in and starting the engine he was off, and he thought first now that he was going to be able to escape the monster.
But he couldn't be more wrong, as thanks to moving from land to the water he had just sealed his own fate. While Niles had some struggles moving on all four on land to chase something, he was at his most dangerous when he was in his right element. Cause in the water all those pounds of fat didn't weight him down at all. In fact his body was almost working exactly like a Hippopotamus. Big and clumsy on land, but quick and dangerous in water. He even did the same technique of moving under water as hippos did when they where chasing a prey, where they sunk to the bottom, pressed their legs close against their body, and then spring jumped their way forward! (Being underwater felt as weight less to Niles like being on the moon.)
So after a few jumps like that Niles had managed to catch up to Andrew in the boat, and he decided to cut his engine. (Literally.)
When Andrew couldn't see any trace of Niles and thought he was going to be the only one surviving this a huge crocodile mouth came up and took a bite into the outboard! After a few tosses with his head Niles managed to rip the whole thing of the boat, leaving only a big hole that was starting to take in water!
Andrew climbed up to the bow of the ship as it was sinking, but he knew that now there was no escaping it. He was going to get eaten, just like the rest.
Suddenly he felt the boat tilting even more as Niles decided to heave his huge midsection onto it. "Why wont you come down here and join the rest of your crew?" He asked, and open his jaws wide.
Just like with Berret earlier Andrew didn't know that the croc could speak, so when it did he got so shocked by it that he lost the grip of the tip of the boat, and started to slide down the wet deck of it towards the even more slippery wetness of Niles's mouth.
Looking back up all Andrew could see was the camera still onboard the boat, as his vision was getting surrounded by the insides of the jaws as they closed down on him.
Gulping him down Niles looked up at the camera and saw that it was still recording. Feeling a little funny again he dragged his large moving belly up on the boat again, (Moving around cause of Berret and Andrew trying desperately to get out of him!) slapped it good with his paws a few times, and then saying "I guess it's true what they say. The camera does seem to add on 5 pounds on your frame." before giving a wink and going back into the water.
When under water Niles had to say that he was pretty pleased with his day. What he first thought would have been only two wildebeests, ended up also adding a 5 man strong crew and two bandits to his daily meal. He could feel that as his belly was hanging low, and dragging him to the sandy bottom. After letting that soft sand rub and massage his belly (His arms being to short to even reach half of it.) Niles decided that he wanted some of that wonderful sunlight as well, and swam back up to the surface. Once up there he decided to let his belly rest above the water, in order to have the sun help warm up in there for his food.
As he was floating calmly belly up on the stream of relaxing water, (And feeling the digestion of his meal add on some extra fat rolls to himself.) he thought about how much he would like to see the faces of the people that later would watch the whole movie when they find the camera.
"Might give me some more juicy tourists to snack on. Maybe I should even start selling t-shirts of myself? I would love to buy some of that delicious junk food some of the tourists have with them on tours at times!" Niles thought peacefully, while giving himself a comfortable belly rub.

This is a story about his Vore crazy Crocodile Niles, and him hunting down a film crew trying to capture him on tape.
Warning! Lots of Vore in this one.
