I got a request on Tumblr for some female Hawlucha art, namely because there is next to none out there. I recently re-added my hawlucha (which is female) back onto my team so I decided it would be a good time to revisit the pokemon equivalent to captain falcon and do the bird justice.
The reason I think people are unwilling to tackle hawlucha is it’s unconventional head shape, but i think for as long as you don't tamper with it it too much it looks alright. I’ve also found a way to brighten up the colours without changing my colouring technique, which is perfect for Hawlucha’s striking colours. :3

The thing about hawlucha is the more i think about it, the more that i realise hawlucha is captain falcon. hawlucha has high-jump-kick (knee of justice/falcon kick), acrobatics (captain falcon's up&B) and can learn fire-punch (do i even need to say it?).
My hawlucha is a little unconventional, trained in HP and Sp.Def for bulk with hone claws, high jump kick, acrobatics and rest (+chestoberry) but i'm really tempted to replace hone claws with fire punch now XD
