I LOVE IT... Ranked battles make me feel ALIVE but I also mostly like that it's easier to see if we're winning or not.
I felt the same way so I got good at guns, and now I'm bad at rollers. Which isn't terrible but still regretful since they're unexpectedly good in ranked too! You toss a well-aimed flick or two and the entire opposing team is destroyed hahah. With the right stages and a good ability to get around being shot at you could still do well!
PS your icon is SUPER CUTE...

WELL, I DO HAVE RUN SPEED UP SHOES that so far have rolled like... all additional run speed on. one more empty slot, cross fingers its still run speed??
maybe two other run speed ability pieces of gear and i'd probably be unstoppable lmao... at least as far as a charger user would be concerned |3

It's cool, I talk a lot too! But yeah good luck with that final slot *u* Honestly, C- and C ranks are the best time to experiment and learn; everyone there is either also new or fell to the very bottom, so they have nothing to lose really! So don't worry too much about that
I suck with the slosher so I can't give any advice, but the N-zap is a good gun imo! I'm best with the 'gals, but sticky bombs on the tower are a life saver so I like the tentatek too. But yeah you might like ranked or you won't, but I always recommend trying it out since it's a neat change of pace! Splat zones may also be more your thing; tower control is just my own personal pref c:

Protip with speed up if you didn't know! It only affects running speed, ie, not when you're firing.
Also the Slosher is indeed so much fun. Don't forget you can slosh over walls with it! Example. If you're on top of the spire in Skatepark, you can splash all around the base of it with little issue from about the middle of it. If you're on the edge, you can just barely get over the little wall between their spawn and the middle point, the one with a grate on one side.

and yeah! I played with slosher a lot in the skatepark lol and it's effective, though mostly only on that one point ;3; i appreciate it for how good it is toward elevation spats though (inklings directly above or below you)

Nope! It doesn't affect that one either, that's unfortunately a big misconception people seem to have. Doesn't help that Nintendo doesn't point it out though!
Sloshing is good elsewhere in that map too! Example. Picture the same spot. The wall along the right side, with that little corridor, the one the enemy team has to go left around a big...tree I think? Not the side with the halfpipe, the other side. You can slosh over that wall there too!
It's also pretty good on Arrowana Mall, you can reach up over the lip of the side catwalks from the middle area.

Eripuppy, glad I discovered your gallery because you do a lot of great work! Wanted to comment on this because it is hilarious and awesome. It also shows some strengths of your work well to boot! First of all, one of the great things about your work is how well you do expressions. You're good at conveying emotions, particularly in your comic work. That's definitely the case here because you do a variety of expressions well for Annie. Nice job conveying very relatable emotions too, since I've definitely felt the same being stuck at B+ rank and trying to make it to A-.
Another thing you do well is dialog, which really stands out in work like this. You're good at using effects like bolding and underlining to give emphasis, and you use them effectively so the dialog reads well. Likewise, effects like the star and music note are nice touches. Doing effects like the action lines in the second panel and the level up imagery work well too and give that scene a more energetic feel. I hope we'll see you use effects like that more often!

Aw jeez, thank you so much for saying so many nice things about my art ;u; I don't do comic work very often, so it's pretty nice to hear that I seem to know what I'm doing, hahah. I'll look forward to splattin' with ya someday, assuming we haven't unknowingly been teamed up already!
