Here we have Mi'ara, a young, Hawaiian freediver during one of her training sessions.
Three minutes, 45 seconds and 165 feet (~50m) below the life-providing surface - yet her calm ascend continues. Kick by kick she ignores the building up pressure on her chest as well as the burning inside.
She wont give up until she has broken her record - and then she will return to the surface!
Another, more detailed attempt at a.. uhm.. human being ^_^
