Maybe that's also the case, but the tutorials got very good since Big Buck Bunny came out. There's also a wikibook that's quite cool and teaches all the basics, and how to get into the interface. Still I gotta check out how to do fur.

Yea I did go through some video tutorials on youtube. Problem I get with this stuff if I find it easy to follow and do what they show you but at the end of it I cant start doing things myself cause I havent learnt anything just followed instructions. :-/
