These are wallabats. They are adorable as fuck. Kind of a mix between a wallaby/bat/fluff monster. They hoard one thing in particular that they find they like as they age. They lay eggs and there are no males or females. They are gender neutral but have the ability to breed with each other. They can have clutches of up to 3 eggs at a time which they keep in the pouch on their bellies. When they do not have eggs they use their pouch to carry their hoard around with them. They are on the small side growing no larger than 4 feet at the tops of their heads when fully grown. They typically hop about as they are unable to fly with their wings. They can however glide short distances with them. Their colors vary from very bright and colorful to more muted and monochromatic. Their coloring and patterns often reflect their hoard. It takes them 2 years to reach maturity at which point they will start actively collecting the item they are most fond of for a nest to lay in and attract other wallabats. They are very group oriented and live best when they are with non less than 3 other wallabats. It is very uncommon for them to form life mating pairs but it does happen. Usually they are together just long enough to see the eggs hatch and the babies are raised for around 5 months with both parents before they separate and the young can then choose who they want to follow around until they are an adult.
Yay wallabats.
