Back when 16 year old Mikiri had just completed her training (or rather: Her training abruptly came to an end when her sensei mysteriously vanished) she felt like she could take on the world!
After all, no one else (besides her brother and sensei) knew the super-secret style of Harmonic Fist, right? She was pretty much invincible! No one was gonna tell her what to do!
Unfortunately that dream was rudely shattered when she entered a certain underground fighting tournament in Sao Paolo and found out she wasn't the only skilled fighter around...

Here we have a young Mikiri, back before she got her signature scars. Her adventures during the aforementioned tournament will be detailed in the story entitled: Mikiri Miura and the Tournament of Terror.
I think she looks a lot cuter here than usual!
