Illustration #4 of 5, for my upcoming novel "The Spiritwalk"

This is one of five prints for the book, in which I'm attempting to illustrate a novel in the ways of the old magazine prints of H.G. Well's, and Doyle's "Sherlock Holmes" in the Strand magazine of the 19th century.

The characters; (left): Stardreamer, the right Bala.

They are lovers, but even lovers have disagreements. Bala did NOT hit Star. She merely pushed her to the ground, just before -- well I will have the story fully illustrated very soon, and posted. (Links to the unillustrated story below)

Encase your wondering; both does are Iuplifted, biosculpted deer in a post-apocalyptic world, set 1000 years in the future. There is far too much to say to fully explain it, but the story "The Spiritwalk" is a science fiction story in development, with uplifted animals, humans, extra-solar beings, and ... well what ever else I bring to it.
