These were my first two concept drawings of what Echo was going to look like
At one point he was going to be a cat!!

I ended up combining the two together to make his current design.
Except with less bright blues. I also tried super hard to keep him from looking like an Angel dragon >__< (So hard!)
I think of Echo more feline-like as far as personality goes.
Yeah I suppose you can say I got that idea from Toothless the Night Fury but I mean HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE HOW ADORABLE THAT WAS?! AHHHH

But the actual reason as to why I chose that personality is because one of his original designs was indeed a cat as you can see.
So I figured I would merge that feline-like attitude to his final result.

I also freaking love cats.
