First post on this site and it mind as well be the ref of the fursona, right?
Some info:
Name: Rhett Thenos
Age: His story claims eons, he acts like mid-to-late-twenties
Height: Variable, but never more than 5 feet or less than 3 feet standing.
Species: Otter...??
Rhett enjoys adventure, exploration, new knowledge and trivia, and avoiding responsibility. To Rhett, nothing is more important than the ability to chose to do what you want, even if it includes choosing to seclude yourself from humanity to see the world. Rhett sees the world as a place full of mysteries to explore, and desires to hunt down all of the ones that interest him.
Polite enough and nice enough to not aggravate most people, Rhett chooses to float around society and chooses to interact very little. He would rather avoid conflict and look for the fun, and if he's being assaulted he isn't apprehensive to use mental magic to brainwash or hypnotize the assailant - to what end result is how Rhett feels that day.
If he considers you a friend, he'll into those that hurt you in his presence. Things Rhett considers "his" are all under his protection, and violating them is a quick way to get him upset with you.
Rhett is a spellcaster, focusing mostly on enchantments - long-term, self sustaining spells. Rhett's magic manifests as stars, stardust, or auroras. He also has some skill in using water magics, able to manipulate it for offensive techniques, or is able to use it as a secondary medium for summoning creatures. Be wary if you do fight him - Rhett may play defensive, but he is adept at removing options from his opponent, often casing gradual physical pain over time or causing his opponent to lose memories and subsequently, their mind. His spell book contains his own spells, as well as the memories of particularly interesting targets.
If Rhett is significantly angered or in a dire situation, he will shift into the starry-shadow form seen on the right. He calls this his "natural form" but it is unclear if he actually is an enchantment creature. Either way, his magical power grows by huge exponentials, and he tends to get scarier and more prone to sadism. Rhett also claims that since this is his true form, he is always particularly prone to disenchantment spells. He's never been hit by one to prove its truth.
I like giving characters magic or superpowers they're really cool okay.
