I went to my first ever con this year. I attended Anthrocon 2015 with several family and friends. Synado went to the rave with me and didnt seem to like me just standing around.
I dont dance rl, I am very uncoordinated. He didnt give me a choice though. He walked up behind me, grabbed my hips and started moving me to the beat. I ended up dancing in public for the first time!
So AC was many firsts for me...
- First furry convention
- First time meeting many of the secondlife family and friends rl
- First time at a rave
- First time dancing in public
- First time dancing as part of the train (gothickitty started that one and we followed her around the dance floor. Looked back to see at least 100 others behind us!)
There were a few other firsts during the rave and throughout AC, but I will leave some of those details for another time perhaps.
All in all, I had a blast and I wanted something to remember the moment. I was lucky enough to get a couple of commissions slots from Kaylii and decided that would be a perfect picture. I think she did a fantastic job of catching the emotions of the night and I love how this piece turned out!
