Armed and more-annoying-than-dangerous, I'm about to spring on unsuspecting furs to shower them with a hail of Nerf foam. I've increased the size of my arsenal by buying a Nerf Recon CS-6 and more recently a NRF 425 Blaster (Firefly remold - which I bought after I drew this, which is why its not pictured).
Thanks to a wonderful friend, I will soon be getting a LongShot. So more Nerf art to come!

Hehe, as far as those two go, they're both about even. The Recon has the benefit of the clip reloading, meaning you won't get stuck with no ammo, but my experience with the Recon was that it was a lot weaker than the Mav, though my mavs are all modded. I'll have to pick another Recon up and try it again. I hope we can meet up at a con someday! :D
I like the Recon. The actual gun itself, without the attachments, is about the same size as a Maverick and same power. Its not as accurate as a FireFly or Maverick over long distance, but it modular features make up for that. Its a good assault weapon and the tactical parts can be used on other Nerf guns.
if you're a collector, get it. If you want an assault gun, get a 425/FireFly.

Not that I actually use it. It's fairly useless. Its just there to make the Recon look more awesome. Looks great on a Firefly too.

What I really, REALLY wish they still had are the nerf ballzookas... you know, those six barreled, pump action guns that fired as hard and fast as you could pump the gun... sending a hail of yellow non-toxic death through the air... *sighs* there has to be a way to get another one......

The REV-6 reloads by dropping the cylender to the side and feeding the rounds in.
The Scout CS-6 and Longshot use 6 shot magazines,
The Firefly reloads like the Maverick except you don't have to hit a pesky button to drop the cylender to the side
And my baby reloads by opening the top, laying in the dummy round in the chamber, closing the top and racking the bolt, then flicking on the full auto button >:3

Ooh I love the vulcan, loud, yes, though you can go manual and fire it like the longshot, but with lots of ammo to spare.

Say hello to hir little friends!!! Those look awesome! I havnet seen many of those in the UK, gotta love our dumbass laws and stupid health and safety crap. Had one guy pull out his nerf gun at the last furmeet iw as at and i was all *grabby paws* to which he said 'don't point it at anythign unless you plan to kill it.' I replied along the lines 'I hope you got shedloads of nerf rounds then, cause this could take all night'
If you don't mind tinkering with the nerf guns you can easily increase the power and range.
