Ha! Vielen Dank. I've sent you paypal moneys just now, btw.
In crits, the pinup looks very masculine, and I've been pondering why. It's definitely in the upper torso... I suspect it's the shoulders and back. Men store extra adipose tissue there, whereas women store on the butt, hips, and thighs. I'd say putting more fat on the hips would send visual cues back to female, or reworking the ribcage/the way it leads into the abdomen. Arms feel a bit thin for the build, too.
(I'm just putting out thoughts, and in no way do you need to revisit this sketch. It's a habit to try to give constructive crit.)
If you're interested, I model for life drawing, and you are one of the few people to whom I'd offer a body shot for life drawing purposes. (Although I assume you looked at shots online, so maybe this is not so useful for you?) I could probably get a friend of mine to pose in the same position to compare male and female body types.
*shrug* Just thoughts. Thanks so much for sketch; it rocks out, and I'm especially enjoying the wings. (But oh man -- do you know how annoying that arm up position is when you're modeling? ;) )
