I just couldn't help but notice how similar the situation was. White spirit wolf on black wolf and all.

But Miranda was black.

Joel dyed himself white a couple time if that's what you mean but otherwise they were both black as a starless night.

I have a theory, that since OOTBD takes place in the future in comparison to Concession, Julia and Melissa are Joel and Matt's selves reincarnated. Maybe not, though. I'm not sure of the exact dates of either.

Or, since Egypt still has pharaohs and Mars is still inhabitable in OOTBD, it takes place in the past in comparison to Concession and Joel and Matt got their "cross-dressing names" from residual past life memories.

Or it's a completely different universe.
