Did you know that the flight couch in the Mercury Capsules was custom fitted for each Astronaut? My favorite little gag was supposedly pulled on Alan Sheppard before launch of the Mercury 7 capsule as he found a small sign with the words "No handball playing in the area" printed on it, affixed to the control board. Looking at these tiny, one man capsules and how tight the interiors were, I figure the first American in Space got the joke right away.

Yeah, I play Kerbal Space Program now and again. It simulates the physics and engineering design of rockets in NASA style, in a fictional world of frog like people, Kerbals. This thing is the MK1 capsule in the game too, so I kinda could say I launched and landed one of these things!
