I have a love of bad sweaters, going back to 3rd grade. When I first met my then friend now fiance at age 15, he was in his sweater page of life. I just found a bin in the garage of his old sweaters and made a mental image of a sweater nest/dragon hoard face.
I would 100 percent try to wear this sweater and think it was really trendy only to hear "nice ugly sweater, going to a party?" XD
I love these textures. And Afghan <3

Pre-hipster love was always hard to explain. I just have bad taste in fashion el naturale.
The first "date" we had was more like a first time hanging out alone in high school and I remember him picking me up at night, and he got out of his old 80s truck with an atari logo on the hood and was wearing a sweater much like this one in beige and I think I heard DreamWeaver in my head.

Sure thing :) I used one of the paper textures I handmade with ink (or walnuts, tea, coffee, etc.), all of which you can find free for download on my DeviantART page: http://hibbary.deviantart.com/galle.....9588/resources
I also used some real media-ish brushes, which I sadly can't link you to because I super forget where I got that one specifically, but DA is swarming with amazing Photoshop brushes you can DL for free. Alectorfencer has some good ones: http://www.deviantart.com/art/Textu.....shes-189266825
My Photoshop art, and all my art, needs a swift kick in the pants from the study-brigade, but I think I'm recovered enough from my spring art-gulag to start.

I TOTALLY feel you. I feel the same way. My dayjob is basically making the same things using the same techniques over and over again year after year so I'm definitely digging myself a huge rut. Every time I try to oh, say, actually digitally paint something I just feel like I'm stabbing my pen at my tablet going: HOW DO I ART!??!?!? The secret language of brush strokes is Greek to me. I don't know how to use them and make them prominent while at the same time not making the finished product look messy and just plain awful.
So be prepared for that to happen to you XD But we can make messy babysteps together.

At least you can digitally paint without dark definite lines. Like, I LOVE linework and outlining but I'm like too terrified to try something without lines x.x; It doesn't help that my only spare time is spent doing commissions and working my day job (which is in a call center, hoping to change that by January, hopefully).
