Based on 'Rexar - Annihilation' (Click here to see the original).

I've not had a lot of time for artwork lately, but I have been fiddling around with some of my existing work to see if I could improve it in any way. Having had a little play with some colour, lighting and clarity adjustments on 'Rexar - Annihilation', I thought I might as well share this tweaked version. The contrast is a little more dynamic, the saturation slightly reduced and a blurring effect added to give it depth (I refrained from doing this in the original due to the loss of detail it caused). I do feel however that the tweaks give it greater visual impact, and possibly greater realism.

This version is only a segment, but its scale is actually closer to the full-size version that I originally used (which was actually 2703x3231). I felt the shrinking actually lost some of the visual impact in the final piece, so this segment gives you a bit more of an idea of what the full-size version looked like.
