I've never played Skyrim myself, however, I did manage to somehow watch 100 - 300 episodes of someone's Skyrim series, that game seems to go on for ages. The last time I seriously sat down and played Final Fantasy was years ago with 7 and that was also the first time. I think I tried to play Crystal Chronicles, I rented it, but couldn't get into it.
Just imagining them trying to top Skyrim seems a bit crazy. Final Fantasy having so many games and then coming out with more means the series is still popular enough for them to consider making making more of them. On top of that, they bring back and re-do older games to further add to the collection in a way.
Yeah, well hopefully they prioritize quality over quantity. I was with Nintendo for years with my last console for them being a Nintendo Wii. My most recent console is a PlayStation 3, which I recently picked up a while back. However, most of my gaming and time is spent online. I can't recall if I have a Steam account, if I did I forgot about it and didn't use it. I'll have to look into that.
