Finally I got this ready! For those who don´t know. One of Orion´s mighty power consist in summoning hot burning chains underground as it´s showed in this old drawing of mine http://symbolhero.deviantart.com/ar.....lama-182352592 http://symbolhero.deviantart.com/ar.....ma-2-182353220 Well, these mighty powers supposed to be dormant inside each drakanian who casts magic artes with the Krestia (the vital energy around the world). As much Krestia they used to cast magic, some remainings are still kept inside their bodies without knowing it or feeling it, the more thime that krestia is dormant inside mixed by more amount gathered for each magic they cast, it evolve into a special power.
Unfortunately they can`t cast that mighty power if they can`t percieved that energy from inside. Unless an ultmate being, like the Grandes Maestros (the servants of the very God) bless a dragon which allows to see more and more deep inside their dormanted power.
Soooo, for the concept of the locked power, I decided to representate the dormant Krestia into that dragon capive by its own power. You can see Orion chained with black chains which it´s made of a very mass concentration of Fire Krestia, al losted in his mind and peaceful, waited to be awaken.
So yep, each dragon has a different representation of its locked soul depending of the element and the type of power. I hope you see this interesting ; )

This is a brilliant and unbelievably beautiful image AND an interesting and amazing concept behind its story! And it's a form of bondage that you don't see very often; story-driven without anything adult or any sort of kink. Nothing wrong with those things, but it is good to see bondage from a different perspective. One that shows a character's emotions and inner struggles in such a simple but powerful way. X3
The very thought of one containing a power such as the one you described...it certainly shows the representation of one's powers lying dormant within them, being sealed away until the moment they are ready to be awakened.
But at the same time, I feel like there could also be another interpretation to this (not saying there IS another interpretation, but I have a theory that this makes me think of). The idea of the inner conflict of controlling one's powers and mastering them without letting them overtake you and become out of control.
So now that I have finished my little rant of inner meaning, so to speak, I have to say that this is without a doubt one of the best bondage pictures I've ever seen. ;-3

Indeed, bondage doens´t have to be anything sexual to make it look great, it can also be badass like this ; ) And it gives a special touch once you add some symbol to justified the content ^ ^
And it´s JUST exactly how yo interpretate. His Krestia developing a new secret power that he´s not aware of using it, his percpetion or control of it is locked and unable to find it to use it, which this is how it´s represented when a Gran Maestro enter to the individual´s mind to unlock that sense to detect the power´s presence and use it for its benefits ; )

In that part he couldn´t control it, because he wasn´t aware of the existance of that power, so his senses to detect that power more and more deep in his mind is trapped by his own power.
Orion learn how to use it by setting his senses free and take over the power. It´s pure symbolism´s matter ; )

Orale, debo decir que el concepto que manejas está interesante, me gusta como le das profundidad a Orion como personaje con eso de los poderes durmientes que tiene, bien! :)
¡Y el fondo con el fuego se ve bastante épico! También le diste un muy buen aspecto con la luz naranja en la piel de Orion, te quedó muy padre el dibujo :).
¿Esas cadenas realmente lo mantienen "atado" Orion las puede controlar?

Esta toma fué perfecta para crear una impactante iluminación ; ) y como fue una captura muy cercana me dio la oportunidad de jugar mas con el trabajo de texturas y demas ^ ^ estuvo satisfactorio este trabajo.
Y sip! Ya cuando Orion libera ese poder, lo que hace es concentrar su Krestia de fuego de su interior y lograr materializarlo en forma de cadenas (lo cual materializar una energia que es invicible ante el ojo es casi imposible y requiere tanta energia) y lo usa para atrapar a sus presas para despues ejecutar su ultimo golpe.

the coloring along with the whole picture is a true masterpiece and plus the story behind is fasscinating and it is a symbolic bondage pic... what can i ask for more?^^

Until a boosted power increased his senses and detect that energy within. Able to reacted and break it free.
This is a representation of that, Orion as the trapped energy by its own power, waiting for being free.

that your characters need a certain boost to set their powers free to begin with reminds me a bit of the tradition of the Marvel X-Men mutants where their powers are unlocked during emotional stress during the teenager period and the adolescence

Ahhh I see, yeah boosting a dragon´s sense of the energy Krestia is something biologically impossible, but the Grandes Maestros, the very God´s eyes, ears and voice, are the ones that make the impossible possible. But of course, they only do that to those which the God think they are the appropiate one to awake its power within.
You surely love chains, do you? XD
As a matter of fact, these chains are really well drawn and the lighting/shading is excellent. ^_^
Well, what's the first impression of mine?
FIRE!
Fire and heat!!
The entire colour palette is pretty much reduced to yellow and red - which are two of three basic colours and which are bursting with heat and force!
The character itself shows a good "profile view" - head to chest with a few hints of biceps and hands. It's nothing special but it's not bad, either. Orion's expression is rather neutral, though. He's not really angry or pissed and of course he's NOT happy, either. Like I said, the expression shows little movement or tension... but the main tension is achieved by other aspects, such as the chains and the colouring.
In this artwork, the main expression, atmosphere and tension is build up by the COLOURING!!!!
While the character is rather neutral, the colours, lighting and shading really blows me away! It is heat and fire... flames and power!
The limitation of the colouring to yellow and red really increases the overall "hot" atmosphere... and we can feel the "fire burning within", indeed.

The chains also add a great deal of tension because they are keeping Orion in place... rather forcefully and strong. Nice touch!

Hahah I´m guilty for liking them XD it gives a... tough look and badass touch ; )
That´s why I like of a zoom shot of a pic, it gives the chance to work the little details like the high lights and the red heat shining colors in Orion´s scales, as for the chains each piece with its own shade and reflect of the light as well.
Yes Orion here supposed to be like lost in his mind, kinda unconcious, which is why he has that emtpy expression, which contrast pretty good with the rest of the environment.
And yeah heheh, looke like a side of water, fire became to be my neat element to draw, huh? is fun drawing fire, is more freely to stroke the orange part, then the yellos and finally a white with 10% of yellow, and tadah! All maded with pen, just a pen the whole pic, not a brush, or a customized brush, just a pen XD

Drake Strike the ground to create a mountain from the earth. He´s in the top and he creates a mess by destroying the mountain with his axe, creating rockslides rolling down in a great velocity to make a lot of damage. His locked soul consist of him having legs and arms trapped in the mountain´s ground.
