Vren is Nylla's imaginary friend come to life from his own realm (Imaginationland) where logic doesn't really apply to much. When younger, Vren saves Nylla from a car crash that kills her parents thus changing her Fate. He is imprisoned for a number of years for doing so but not before discovering (and hiding) that he has a new Fate-induced alter ego- Beint.

Beint is an ass. A straight up douchebag when he wants to be, but he can also be a badass. He amplifies Vren's power (physical strength and speed) by a number of times.

Nylla is your typical gal. She loves certain movies, shows, books, etc. She's not a popular girl, nor is she an outcast. She's just plain normal. And like all kids she had an "imaginary friend". But Vren turns out to be more real then she'd ever dreamed of. And to top it all off- Nylla might just be a bit more than normal within Vren's home realm.

Petey is a goofy lovable troublemaker. He guards Nylla with his tiny barks and bites. She got him at the pound about the time she moved out of her aunt's house. He has a heart shaped spot on his back.

Lots of adventures ensue once Vren comes back to fetch his mistress!
