Lauren and Fulminar finished their meal at one of the fanciest restaurants in town just in time for it to start raining. Neither one had brought a car, but fortunately for both there was a store next door in which the zebra purchased an umbrella. He gallantly offered his arm to the cape buffalo and escorted her underneath it's protection.
"It's not very big."
"Biggest they had," Lauren said.
Fulminar inched closer to him. "I guess that means we'll just have to stay nice and close, won't it?" She pressed up against her date and the two walked to Lauren's place a couple of blocks away. He unlocked the door, carried her across the threshold, and kicked the door closed with a hoof, leaving the umbrella upside down outside.
