That is kind of rude. Maybe this person likes spiders.
Plus. If there is no afterlife. And you took it upon yourself to kill it. You just sent a creature into oblivion for no other reason than an irational hatred for something that can't really hurt you.
It's cruel and this spider is OUTSIDE far away from any dwelling of yours. You intruded into it's house.

Well I sure as hell wouldn't want to pick one up. I got way too close to one (woke up with one on my face). If they are in MY home, I will squish them with a shoe (or if large enough, with a semi-automatic pistol). They are pests, and can infest homes, making life really difficult. If I see one outside? That's fine, that's their home. My home is not their home.
actually wolf spiders are poisonous and are considered to be a danger to humans even though they cant kill them as their bite hurts, a lot, the benifit to having them around however is that they hunt and kill other insects that may enter your home due to their improved eye sight.

It's very creepy to see them have eggs are their backs looking to plant them in your kitchen!
I put things like lizards and frogs back outside, but spiders will just come back.
My sister was put in the hospital by a brown recluse a few years ago, still has a scar. Spiders are fine and pretty when they stay outside, I like to feed the garden one's. I just wish they could read, I'd put up a sign at the door saying "stay out! Only death awaits!".
