Yeah, agreed. This is fictional however, and the particular species is artificial. The obstacles to reproduction are overcome by technology, mostly artificial conception and gene therapies / augmentations.

Wow, very interesting creatures, I am very curious as to their biology actually I am sort of a stickler for realistic creature designs, especially for large ones. seeing that you note the Gigatherion as being an experiment into the limits of the species volume I wounder if you took the square cube law into account as well as the stresses caused by such large sizes changeing the creatures morphology and locomotion?. Indeed gigatherion looks very sauropod like.
