Yep, they are fairly pretty when you see them up close.

Instead of chasing them, you could offer up some raw hamburger. They'd be happy. :3

These things roost in the trees around my house. They can be creepy when 10 of them are doing that and staring at me with those distantly mad eyes of their's.

Aw, they're harmless enough. One of the least aggressive birds out there, in fact... they almost never hunt anything. They just sorta lurk instead. Plust they have pretty blue eyes.

One of the most misunderstood critters out there, IMHO. Nice to know there's some vulture fans out there. :3

Vultures aren't that bad. Their wings are nice, but I think it's the whole "consuming many-day-old carcasses" thing that turns people off to them. The ones here where I live are so skittish.

I have to admit, typical items on a vulture menu are pretty gross... still, the world would be even grosser if vultures weren't out cleaning up the mess. They are rather skittish, at that.
