This is me at MFM back in 2003. I set up at a table in the atrium and spent much of my day sitting here talking to folks and showing how I do things with the clay. I considered doing the artist alley thing but I would rather be able to have folks join me at the table and talk rather than have them walk up to a table, have them interact for 30 seconds then move on.

Thank you and yes, I think it is the way to go with something like sculpting. Unless you intend to sell or do commissions you really don't have much to offer at a table. I have issues with the way MFM is run anyway as I have been screwed over trying to do panels a couple of times. Granted they did offer to make things right that year but really, it is significantly better to do it this way since you can't teach this sort of thing by telling, you have to show. Plus, the interest in sculpting has always been low anyway since you can't hide it in a manila folder in the back of the closet.
