This character was sheer chance. I had the general idea down, on the left, but one day in class I was just staring at a heavily doodle-laden art board that we clip our newsprint paper to for Lifedrawing class. I just saw something that looked like what I wanted it to look like, and it looked like a better version of what I had wanted Cotunt to look like. So after I snapped a few shots on my cell phone, I redrew her on the right.

Hence forth, I've gained a far greater understanding of muzzles and eyebrow muscles, all thanks to a dirty art board. Just goes to show that you never know where you'll find a personal diamond. ^w^
