Ahhhh holy shit baby, I love this so much! I really love the glowy dreary, yet beautiful atmosphere of a Japanese alleyway, the aesthetic of this is pure beauty and your backgrounds are getting more and more fantastic with each one you do!

I like your use of lines, and how not all of them are a straight up dark color, and how they're overtaken by the glow, that way it doesn't clash but melds into the atmosphere even better, making you feel like you're really there as opposed to being distracted by lineart. Basically you know how to mess with illusion which is a good part of background painting, I hope this makes sense my wording sucks.

Also I really love how you draw Avery! It's very distinct and you've been consistent each time you've drawn him, his beak and teeth look great in your style as well as the collar on his shirt. I like that you didn't black it out like I usually do, and made it look more like a shirt and have the pattern going all the way up. You got his expression and personality perfectly down, too. Great job, love you're amazing!

Honey this turned out breath taking! The atmosphere gives me chills and makes me feel like I really am in a place like that! The lighting and the blur is beautiful and the small details of the background really make this piece. I can just get lost in your coloring <3

I love the lighting on his hair and how there are different colors to match the lighting of the signs behind him, so beautiful! And just the right amount! I love the shading on him and how it reflects the mesh of lighting around him. You are a PRO at understanding where shading goes to really make the piece three dimensional. Your use of line weight is impressive and you know exactly where to make it heavy and light to balance the character while still portraying depth.

You are SO good at drawing Avery, my darling, you are so good at handling other people's characters! Your style really makes the character's personality stand out and it's so impressive. I love that look in his eyes, it makes the background seem so dream like and droning while still keeping the livelyness of the lights and signs.
