A really cool design commission for of a feline with lots of cool ocean themes!

On the face are mother-of-pearl plates going from the nose to the forehead, so they're all pearly looking and glossy and pretty with shimmery pastel colors! Woo! Also in case you're not sure what mother-of-pearl is it's basically the glossy pearl-like layer in the shell. Pearls actually form from it, hence the name:

The tail is meant to be based off a lobster but also with shrimp-like fins which is why they're pointier as opposed to box-like lobster fins. Markings are inspired off clownfish and the blue ringed octopus! Paw pads on toes and fingers are suction cups and the palm pads are actually just blue ring octopus markings X3 Thick whiskers based off the cerata on nudibranchs. Fins on the back of course are to go along with the clown fish theme. There's a lot going on with this kitty but I like how it turned out! X3
