While at work yesterday, I found out one of my co-workers can sing quite well. We started talking a little bit, and found out that he's actually homeless, and lives in his car with his two adorable dogs. I felt a little bad for him, and he tells me that he likes to listen to a lot of music, and sometimes writes lyrics for fun. I have't heard any of his work, but I told him that I would like to hear him sing.

This project took me a total of 4 1/2 hours to create. I used a mixture of samples and MIDI, and tried to aim for a somewhat sad but motivational track. It should be quite obvious by now that i LOOOOVE piano. I also added in some percussion for more flavor. I originally planned for the percussion to be a light background addition to accompany the hip-hop drums. However, I decided to make the opposite, and making the hip-hop drums the background instrument.
