Finally! The conclusion to my four-part comic commission!
After Maria dealt some well-deserved payback on her diabolical captor, Lupe uses the same device to return her daughter back to regular size (even though it occurred off-screen/off-page). Soon after, they’re reunited and it feels so good Lupe’s relieved to have her precious child safe in her arms, and Maria is simply elated to be at her mother’s side The two of them head home together, and while Maria worries that Drago will try something like this again, Lupe reassures her that it won’t be anytime soon, nor would he be in any condition to attempt such a feat. Meanwhile, Drago is left behind, broken and bruised (both physically & emotionally) deeply embedded in the huge foot-shaped crater that is Maria’s shoeprint. It’ll be a long while before Drago’s strong enough to pull himself out of the Earth’s crust perhaps he’ll spend this time to reflect on the error of his wicked ways

I just imagined Drago thinking "Where's Razorklaw when you need him?" only for it to turn out he's in a crater as well after some failed revenge on Hathor, or returning to base after recovering some only to find Razorklaw also recovering from a similar experience. Eggman isn't gonna be too happy to find out Drago's arms are broken.
But at least Maria is on the path to becoming like her mother. I wonder if she'll get her new sandals as a treat or reward considering her last one stepped in some Drago (who is pretty vile).

Good help is so hard to find Especially, for a tyrannical madman like Eggman! Oh, how embarrassing it must’ve been for the good doctor to know that one of his toys were brutally broken by a mere child
I like to think that Lupe has an old, yet sturdy pair of blue sandals she’s been saving to pass on to her daughter when the time is right Maria would wear those sandals with great pride knowing that each step/sprint she takes in them once housed her mother’s strong feet/paws
