This is my third rendition of the popular scale model and the best color my printer has produced. Laminated sheet balsa fins were made at the base and cemented to the rocket airframe, then painted with water-based acryllic craft paint. Guides were formed from brass wire holiday ornament hangers and attached with CA glue. Nose cone is hollow and reinforced with bamboo skewers cut to length and cemented with Alene's Tacky Glue, also a half-ounce of solid-core solder strands for ballast. Then the model received two coats of Krylon "Preserve It" clear spray. Recovery is provided by a Top Flight 18" nylon parachute. The rocket also carries an Estes altimeter. Power plant is an Estes C11-3 motor. A free download btw.
