Herein is a Pokemon Team commission done for a personal trainer OC, Malcolm, with his team of choice. This pic underwent quite a lot of back and forth on my part with deciding upon a couple Pokemon in which to utilize for this one. Four of these Pokemon were decided upon right out of the gate, but Goodra and Rotom Heat took a bit of work to figure out. Eventually settled on them due to how much I enjoy Goodra, and Rotom Heat I quite like design-wise and being a surprisingly interesting Fire/Electric type.
Each and every one of the four original Pokemon on this team (Sableye, Nidoking, Cacturne, Ariados) all share a story behind them, and they all relate to my time playing the Pokemon games all the way ever since Yellow. Maybe some day I'll share those stories, but herein is the dream team, in all their glory. Vealan the Ariados, Seras the Cacturne, Dreivan the Nidoking, Sadrian the Sableye...jeez, so many memories.
By the way, the shirt Malcolm is wearing under the jacket states "I Reject Your Reality, and Substitute My Own." Little reference there.
If you're curious where the Mega Stone is on Malcolm for Sadrian, it's embedded in the other side of Malcolm's headphones.

I know. I knew that when the team was made, and I still know that now. Thing is, both Dreivan and Vealan can cover Fairies innately. Way I see things sometimes, a team does not have to be immensely varied in typing to be even. If the movesets are even, it can still be a fair team. More to the point, this is my personal team, not something I'd take onto competitive matches or anything. I'll leave that to the people who do that, and those people are who I build teams for. This team in four of its members is a representation of my memories with Pokemon, one additional poke that I learned to love through the community, and one that legitimately surprised me, and it's the way it is strongly because of that.
Meh, I'm a big stickler of the "No three+ weaknesses" rule for my teams. My main team is:
Rotom-H (Shiny)
Scizor (Mega)
Gallade (Shiny)
Garchomp
Milotic (Shiny)
Drapion (Shiny)
This team is weak to fairy twice over and then all of the other weaknesses are once over, so as to keep my team varied and hard to counter as possible

I'm going to state this again. My point here was not to make the team balanced, but to have a team I personally connected with. The majority of the time I build teams for people, I am a strict no +3 weaknesses adherant, but for this team, the exception applies due to the memories each Poke holds for me in addition to what they represent. My point was not to present a team that was hard to counter or such, it was to have a team that I related with.
So, honestly, I don't care if this team has a +3 Fairy weakness, it's a team built on memories and Pokes I love, not the competitive mindset or intentions.

Thanks! I've always kind of stuck true to the whole "Use what Pokemon you love" mentality with what I regard as a personal team or a trainer OC. Fairy weakness or not. Granted, if I had 100% stuck to that, I'd probably have something else in here other than Rotom Heat, but it is what it is. I like Rotom Heat.
