Just quick drawing for the Imperial Japan's the Fusō-class battleships, Yamashiro & Fusō. How would they look like in WW2.

Maybe add Haruna as a female soldier to the group?
While with Fusou, maybe add a scar to his right eye which made him blind in that eye, and maybe add some more muscle to him as he is one of the first three to be used in war.
As for Yamashiro, maybe give him a bit of buff and a few scars on his cheek and jaw area
