Very socially awkward and nervous around people, unfortunately he comes across as rude instead of shy due to a bad habit of posturing. He tries too hard to follow social norms and make people give him space at the same time, which tends to make interactions worse instead of better (which makes him more anxious and prone to avoiding people in the future). He does fine with business transactions, there are 'steps' and 'rules' to how that works, it's socializing that's difficult for him.

He left his mercenary family and now is a woodsman/traveler type. He makes maps to support himself, also sells furs and such but doesn't go out of his way to acquire them. He's known for helping travelers find their way, especially through dangerous territories. He likes people, he's just got some issues. He loves history, stories, legends, and music. He can sing and dance, but he never does so publicly. He comes across as being blunt and rude a lot in his interactions, preferring to keep everything quick and to the point so he doesn't make any mistakes.
