Dragocorn wanted to help me out, so she drew this neat advertisement for me. I'm conducting interviews with fellow furries at Eurofurence. I'm open for interviews from the 19th to the 23rd. If one is scheduled for early morning, I may be able to conduct an interview on the 24th before I leave.
For those that haven't heard or seen me at a con, I'm a 20 year furry and a 3rd year PhD student. I'm conducting an auto-ethnographic and ethnographic study of us as a community. I'm interviewing people in the style of Paul Hodkinson and Paul Willis to gather stories and experiences from furries around the world. I'm not going to ask anything uncomfortable or weird and this is a purely academic study with anonymized data (your name and Fursona's name will not appear in the study). I'm not going to make us look bad or write anything sensational. If you're familiar with my previous academic publication it's probably going to be relatively boring.
My goal with this study is to give our community a platform to tell our stories in our own words and apply theory to it to see what can be learned.

Actually, if done online I'd have to do Skype. Academically speaking there's a big difference between face-to-face, online, and typed responses. I'm not prepared to work with emails for this project.

Noted, as soon as I get the secondary ethics okay and have my supervisor give it the go-ahead you'll be among the first I interview online.
It's no wonder you missed me at Confuzzled, I was darting around like a madman the whole con. A friend told me he thought he encountered me in one hall and somehow passed me a second time in the opposite hall going the same direction. I blame sleep deprivation. Goodness knows if I could teleport like that it'd make this project easier.
