Tancels are little creatures that can found almost anywhere. Though they prefer the quiet, they will make a home wherever there is food and shelter. They are herbivorous and enjoy a wide variety of plants, berries, ect. When born, a tancel is solid white and their later appearance is influenced by the first thing they see when their eyes open, usually the surrounding nature.Though they commonly have cloudy eyes, they can still see. Whatever is lacked in vision is made up with their very strong sense of hearing due to their oversized ears. They have small but very sturdy wings that allow them to fly short distances. Small horns can be found on them occasionally, not determined by gender. They also sport long plush tails. They weigh around 15 to 20 pounds and are about 14 inches in height.
They can be shy to human contact at first, but can be easily persuaded with some treats like fruit or some sugary sweets if you really want them to like you. The average lifespan of a tancel is about 20 years. They are born one or two at a time and do not have a set breeding season.
