As much flack as I'm gonna get for saying this, I can't see Sparky as a teacher. At least not drawn like this.
A teacher's aide however this totally works. One who's just bored with doing nothing but grading tests and homework, decides "Hey, no one will notice if a few bad students go missing for a day or two...", then does this. All under the teacher's nose.
