Yes I watched Shirokuma Cafe before, but for me it's boring, except Grizzly and Penguin being the straight man.

I kind of liked Shirokuma Café myself, but slow series like that aren't for everyone. (Of course, Shirokuma's puns were hard to bear... )

I don't think it would be too much of a big deal. After all, "black" is in the discription of my species' name!
If they called him "black"..................
Being a kid's show. ... the bear is black and it is what it is!
Hardly anyone would pick up on that!
But give the bear a "black" voice that talks in slang and acts in the ways of the average African American,then maybe there would be cause for alarm?
Maybe the furry Fandom will take notice like the few of us bears who choose a "black bear fursona!
