Roan of old was once a Great Empire, that stopped the day firearms were perfected by the Canidians.
The original royalty feeling threatened by this growing technology, decided to strike first, but were quickly destroyed.
Roans quickly found, that their hubris, and pride quickly led to their downfall, and they would not see the rise of their new nation until over a century later.
