The red wolf on the left is Ki'lana, an ultra-high-tech beowulf who makes the destruction of nations of her business, with eating and snuffing out individuals as a relaxing pasttime. On the right is her self-declared alpha Dzhugashvili, a warriormouse with about the same tenacity and appetite as Discworld's Luggage.
These two spend most of their time hanging out at the Giant's Club, devouring hapless bystanders and being absolutely adorable. Which one's really the alpha? Well, it's still up in the air.

I'd say she's pretty tough. :) And she has a completely different morality from normal people, not to mention the perspective that anyone and everyone is her prey if she's so inclined. And she can pretty well back up that perspective, too. ;)
Still love the pic. Though she really does consider Dzhugashvili the party leader here, though perhaps in the sense that Sephiroth followed Cloud's orders for a while.
