I went to the Garden of Love, And saw what I never had seen
Quick pic,
Still showcasing new Diego and will be heading out to take new and better pictures very soon.
Wolfies blowing a kiss here in the Garden of love to who? it may be you ;)
The poem "the garden of love" by william blake is quoted in the title of this picture.
I believe its relevant not just because of the heart in the picture (to obvious and literal) but more so because of the poem its self.
William wrote the garden of love a very long time ago, back in the days when church was much much more oppressive and had a must tighter grip on the population.
Even though the world has moved on and the the churches attitude towards sexuality has changed for the most part old attitudes are still reminiscent. homosexuality is no longer a crime in the first world, how great is that ^^
But what im getting to and targeting more here is how furries feel about their own sexuality whether it be homosexuality, transgender, bisexual, private fetishes and kinks furrys often have. none of these things are a crime and nor should they be unless they are hurting someone (obvious disclaimer)
In this modern world, what I have observed here in our country, the best country in the world Australia.
It is people/furries who repress themselves in fear of others not the church or socity, a fear that's often irrational and unjustified. the truth is most people dont mind of care about sexuality so long as your not a dick head.
coming back to the poem "the garden of love" and williams origonal message. luckily its not others who repress us in our world today, instead it is ourselves. So the poem is still relivant today however the battle is in each persons own mind and up to them to over come, not the church. heh
long winded write up insted of just some cliche' title *waggles*
