My first impression was that this is a view through a peep hole in a door. Now I can see that it is the point of view from somebody hiding inside a large pipe. I wonder why he is hiding. Don't tell me. Imagination is a good thing here.

I notice also, that you changed the title from "Nigh" to "Night". Maybe the original was just a misspelling. But I like that first title as well. Nigh (without the T) can mean close or near. In that sense, it can mean that the wolf carrying the flashlight is close to his quarry.
