Correct me if I'm wrong but with General Long, I'm seeing more than a fair bit of blatant hypocrisy. I mean, right after that little speech he gave to Qiáo about being to quick for glory, then goes off seeking the same thing from where I stand.

And based on the expressions of the others (minus Qiáo) in Panel 2, I get the feeling it will prove to be a costly mistake.

As for Qiáo, he is looking rather down right now. Can't say I blame him though if my suspicions are correct, it may prove to be a hidden blessing.
