Yeah, don't think I've really seen any art created in that manner before. Poor paper though, I'm guessing it didn't have much opportunity to fight back....

Indeed, poor paper. I did go easy though.

I'm actually considering sewing some faux armour for me and a friend out of canvas, and attack each other with ink swords.
