"Fan Art Doodle: 'Red Shetland' as Drawn by Gary Larson"
One of the things I love to do is experiment with the characters of other anthroartists, and attempt to render them in the style of professional cartoonists (from comic strips and/or the animation industry). A prime example is the character 'Red Shetland' (a spoof of "Red Sonja"), who was co-created by 
Rabbi-Tom...
In the past, I'd drawn the equine warrior in the style of cartoonists like James Thurber and Matt ("The Simpsons") Groening - with each rendering made as a greeting card.
Well, I had recently rediscovered another one of my doodles (drawn on some scrap paper), depicting 'Red Shetland' as drawn by another cartoonist: namely, Gary Larson of "The Far Side" fame. So, rather than draw this whole image in the form of yet another greeting card, I've decided to simply post said doodle. You should still be able to recognize the expression on the horse's face, done in Larson's style.
